Bringing Reconciliation Home - Insights for Multiracial Families

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Raising children in a multi-racial family is a beautifully complex journey. Whether your family is formed through foster care, adoption, blended relationships, or multi-racial heritage, it’s essential to build nurturing environments where every child feels truly seen, valued, and accepted. Using culturally sensitive strategies will strengthen your family bonds while empowering each child or teen in your home to confidently embrace their unique identity.
This 90-minute workshop covers the foundational needs of multi-racial families, unpacks the impact of past trauma, and highlights the historical implications of race. Together, we'll explore practical strategies designed to strengthen healthy relationships with your kids while appreciating the cultural diversity within your family.
